Household Energy

I led the development of a centralised energy management system for households comprising of a solar-power installation and an e-car, along with the standard electrical grid interface. This was done as part of research project with the Technical University of Darmstadt, Germany.

Below is a movie I made from the code we developed and I wrote while at OmegaLambdaTec. The data for the movie is the output of the actual optimisation code for a 24hr window with realistic conditions. All the elements of the video were designed from scratch in Python.

Route Optimisation

What is the best way through a city to carry out delivery/pickup with vehicles of different loading capacity? I worked on finding the best solution given the framework and constraints provided by the customer, where the trucks and capacities were treated as free parameters.
